Seeing yourself in Christ is a day at a time process. Start your day with one or more of these questions, the spiritual equivalent of a strong cup of coffee.
Did the thought of Christ carrying his cross even occur to me during the day yesterday?
(If so, thank him. If not, plan something to get it on your mind today.)
How is Christ's example of courageous suffering changing me a day at a time? How is God answering my Courage Prayer for boldness?
(The clearer your get this, the more motivated you are to SYNC with him and the more relaxed you are as you do it.)
If I do my part this week in God’s mission to restore and bless the world, what risks must I be ready to accept?
(These risks don’t come up if we are not looking at our next week in terms of God’s mission. We don’t act and we don’t get reactions.)
What opportunities may I have to share Christ's courage and "en-couragement" as others carry their crosses, whether nearby or on the other side of the world?
(Be alert for these. In Christ, you are a walking "en-couragement". Much of the world's pain is due to a serious shortage of courage.
Bottom line: What customized SYNC exercises and/or other things will I build into my day so I am ready for any risk I may have to take because I live in SYNC with Christ?
