Vision Verses
Seven verses that give you a feel for the Vision Rhythm

If we had only one Bible verse to give us the Vision Rhythm, it would probably be Revelation 11.15:
Then the seventh angel blew his trumpet, and there were loud voices shouting in heaven: “The world has now become the Kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he will reign forever and ever.”

That is the first verse in the set of seven "Vision Verses" below. They are snippets from all over the Bible that get you started toward seeing how wonderful the biblical vision is and how many layers it has.

That vision is like a complicated rhythm when you hear it for the first time. You may not catch on right away, but if you keep listening you will. And you don't have to understand it all perfectly in order to start liking it. Just like it, and watch it grow on you as you keep listening.

Seven verses that give you a glimpse of the biblical vision for the world

All quotes are from the New Living Translation.

To build your vision further, read the verses around these in the Bible instead of just the single verses by themselves.

Then the seventh angel blew his trumpet, and there were loud voices shouting in heaven: “The world has now become the Kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he will reign forever and ever.”   Revelation 11.15

Glory to God in highest heaven, and peace on earth to those with whom God is pleased.  Luke 2.14

Arise, Jerusalem! Let your light shine for all to see. For the glory of the LORD rises to shine on you.  Isaiah 60.1

For God wanted them to know that the riches and glory of Christ are for you Gentiles, too. And this is the secret: Christ lives in you. This gives you assurance of sharing his glory.  Colossians 1.27

He was given authority, honor, and sovereignty over all the nations of the world, so that people of every race and nation and language would obey him. His rule is eternal—it will never end. His kingdom will never be destroyed.  Daniel 7.14

And he also said, “It is finished! I am the Alpha and the Omega—the Beginning and the End. To all who are thirsty I will give freely from the springs of the water of life.”  Revelation 21.6

He who is the faithful witness to all these things says, “Yes, I am coming soon!” Amen! Come, Lord Jesus!  Revelation 22.20
